Use .svg for responsive website graphics

Scalable vector graphics, svg, images are relatively small in file size and infinitely scalable. That makes them perfect for web graphics, such as logos and icons, since they are also supported by all major web browsers. Scalability makes it possible to show the same image in high quality on desktop browsers as well as smartphones and tablets. Svg does not work for photographic images because they cannot be easily vectorized.
